The 'red berry' that could


The pomegranate, high in vitamin C and polyphenols, contains tannins, anthocyanins and ellagic acid. With all these antioxidants, PSA levels in men increased at a very slow rate and it took longer to double that rate, especially when the men in the study drank 8 ounces of the pomegranate juice. The juice also suppressed the cancer cell to grow further and even caused the prostate cells to die. Way to go, you red berry!
