YUMMY BROCCOLI SALAD RECIPE

Each time I make my Broccoli Salad, I get yumm!! Ooh! and Oh! So good what do you put in it? ...

Well I didn't realize how many people were not familiar with the salad, surely it is found in Whole foods, yet I was constantly asked for the recipe. I use the one given to me by my mother. Not sure where she got it from, but I liked it, and I've been making it since for any big occasion.

I promised many friends I would share the recipe, and so here it is for them and everyone who enjoy a good salad.

To serve at least 8 to 10 people

4 broccoli heads
1 red onion
3 to 4 celery stalks
half a cup sunflower seeds
half a cup dried California raisins

Cut the broccoli, celery and onion in very small diced pieces. For the broccoli, you can hold the entire head and start shaving the flowers so you have very small bits.

Mix it all, add the sunflower seeds, and the raisins, if you feel you want to add more raisins, go ahead.

Then get the dressing ready.

Dressing:

1 cup real Mayo
3 tbs Apple cider vinegar
3 tbs organic sugar
MIX and add to your salad, work the dressing in well, chill and serve.
note: I sometimes don't put the onion and it really is as good.

That's it, that's All!

A Yummy Broccoli Salad for which everyone will chase you to get the recipe, and you can give them the link to my blog :P
